Getting There
Try Airflights - a good starting point that allows an easy day-by-day search. showing times and prices. Also try Cheapflights or Skyscanner. It’s usually worth checking with the charter airlines themselves, as not all appear in the search-engines above.
Easyjet now fly 3 times a week from Gatwick to Bodrum from £72 return. Flythomascook, Thomsonfly, MyTravel and Aegean Flights all fly direct to Bodrum (Aegean also do a limited winter service). British Airways can be very competitive if booked well in advance (up to 12 months), and you don’t mind the drive down from Izmir. Easyjet also fly to Dalaman. Both Izmir and Dalaman are 3 hour drives from the villas.
It’s always worth looking at Turkish Airlines or Cyprus Turkish Airlines who can be surprisingly competitive on flights from the UK to Bodrum, Izmir, Dalaman and Istanbul. There are also plenty of low cost flights down to Bodrum from Istanbul with Turkish Airlines, Atlasjet, OnurAir and Pegasus. The flight takes about an hour. A cheap Easyjet flight to Istanbul, and onward to Bodrum is a real option.
Car Hire
We have found Propercar to be reliable and good value. Alternatively, try HolidayAutos or CarRentals.
